Teaching Assistants' Training Program

This workshop will focus on how to identify, engage, refer and manage students who are withdrawn, distressed, or who present unusual requests or situations, including crisis situations. We will discuss strategies for interacting with such students, determine how and to whom to make appropriate referrals, and review resources available for teaching assistants and students.
