Join U of T’s Academic Resilience Initiatives team toexplore resilience within the context of student learning at U of T. Asteaching assistants, you’re likely directly observing the impact of thedisruption to learning caused by covid – which may include learning loss, disengagement,and the increased need for learning support. Through reflection on yourexperience as a TA so far, we’ll explore these common themes and how they showup in your classrooms and tutorials. Drawing on relevant research and theirexperience as learning strategists, the presenters will discuss key practicesthat support effective learning and well-being in the learning environment.Presenters and participants will collaborate together on a toolkit ofstrategies to help foster resilience in tutorials and learning spaces.
