TATP Program Review Focus Groups

The Teaching Assistants’ Training Program is undergoing a program review process to improve the program’s effectiveness and quality. This review will provide a clear assessment of the program’s strengths and weaknesses and develop a guide for the program’s future direction. As part of this review process, we are asking for input from current and former participants in our programs in two ways:

  • TATP Program Review Survey: This anonymous 8-10 minute survey will help us to better understand your experience as a graduate student participant in one or more elements of the TATP’s programming. This survey will be available from June 14th through July 16th and can be accessed at the following link: https://uoft.me/TATP-Program-Review
  • Focus Groups: These 90-minute structured discussions will focus on your experience with the TATP’s certificate programs,
    • Eligibility: We are looking for both current and former participants in the TATP’s certificate programs (Teaching Fundamentals and Advanced University Teaching Preparation)
    • Details: Participation in these focus groups is voluntary and you may refuse to participate in parts of the group conversation or may withdraw from the group chat at any time during the conversation without penalty. The information gathered will be anonymized and used in aggregate to inform future programming. Participants will receive a $10 gift card.
