This interactive workshop will explore how post-secondary classrooms can be more responsive to a broad range of learning needs. What can you do in your role as a TA or CI to help craft meaningful learning experience for a diverse student body? In this workshop, we will discuss the seven principles of universal instructional design, explore how the principles can be turned into practices in a range of different learning environments, and strategize about how to overcome challenges that may arise while implementing universal instructional design in your own teaching context.
