Description

Creating your content with accessibility in mind will ensure that you can reach and support the widest variety of learners, and eliminate the need for individual accommodation, thus creating a more equitable learning space. Want to make learning more accessible in your course using the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles? Make your materials more accessible in Quercus using these key strategies:
• Developing and including an accessibility statement in your tutorial (or course) syllabus.
• Developing and sharing learning outcomes to clarify expectations in your synchronous and asynchronous engagements.
• Personalizing students’ learning experience (e.g., through tailored feedback).
• Using built-in accessibility tools to format text, lists, and hyperlinks.
• Making captions or transcripts available for media elements.
