With increasing diverse student populations in the classrooms, it is critical that we engage and reflect on our intercultural development journey to build a safe and inclusive learning environment. By participating in this workshop, participants will:
• Explore intercultural communication models;
• Recognize how different cultural mindsets influence the way people interact with each other in the academic, professional, and personal contexts;
• Apply intercultural frameworks to their daily life;
• Discuss the impact of virtual space on building connections with students.
• Reflect on their communication styles and cultural intersectionality to increase their intercultural awareness in navigating different situations more confidently.
Everyone is welcome to join, regardless of where you at in your intercultural learning journey.
