Description

At this brown-bag lunch, we’ll discuss strategies for transforming our “teaching lows” into future strategies for teaching. What happens when you realize that your teaching plan has fallen flat? What do you do with the knowledge that something isn’t working? How do you look back on both the ups and downs of teaching and carry those insights forward to future lesson plans?

Bring your lunch and bring your reflections on the past term and everything that has happened inside the classroom as well as throughout the planning stages. Participants will be invited to unpack difficult teaching experiences in dialogue with others in order to begin to develop a reflective vocabulary. All questions, ideas, and reflections on your Fall term’s teaching are welcome!

Participation in one of these Brown-Bag Lunch ‘n’ Learn sessions counts as one credit towards the Certificate Program. A maximum of one lunch can be counted towards the TF Certificate and up to two lunches can be counted towards the AUTP Certificate Program.
