Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation, 130 St. George Street, Robarts Library, 4th floor
Each Online Microteaching session will involve 5 graduate student participants and 2 TATP facilitators and one TATP moderator. Participants will take turns presenting for 10 (ten) minutes (as instructors) in front of their peers and the TATP facilitators (their students). Each instructor will provide a brief, 2-minute verbal self-assessment, stating what they thought worked well in the presentation and what could be improved. The instructor will then receive brief verbal comments from each peer in the session and comments from the TATP facilitator. The instructor will then end their session with a final self-assessment in light of the comments just received. Time will be given to all participants to fill out a feedback form for each instructor; at the end of the session each instructor will email their feedback forms to the TATP facilitators for distribution. You will have the option to have your presentation recorded and sent to you after the session.
