Teaching Assistants' Training Program

This is a 3-hour session for first-contract TAs

3 hours of general pedagogical training: 10am – 1pm

This session will include topics such as University of Toronto Policies around teaching, classroom management, professionalism, grading and other important information for first contract TAs

All departments may allow TAs to use this three-hour session as their paid mandatory training (per the collective agreement between C.U.P.E. 3902 and the University of Toronto). If this is the case, please read the information on Paid Training carefully. If you have any questions, please contact services.ta@utoronto.ca.

Please note: returning TAs should NOT attend this session. This session cannot be counted towards the certificate programs.
