Description

This workshop will introduce participants to infographics and how to develop them as a teaching tool for their classrooms. Attendees will learn the basics of infographic making (e.g. making information concise, easy to read and follow), how to identify pertinent information to include in infographics, and resources they can use to create them for students. Participants will then apply this new knowledge though guided group work to create a mock infographic. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand what an infographic is;
  2. Identify when to use an infographic;
  3. Learn how to create an infographic template;
  4. Understand ways to include infographics in their classrooms and beyond.
